Event Description

With Tour Guide: Ramsey Hart

Tour Summary:

A variety of birds can be found in every corner of Ottawa, from the greenspaces to the most densely populated neighbourhoods and the towers of downtown. On this walk we'll visit a wide variety of urban habitats and discover what birds are where, why they are there and what contributes to or threatens the city's bird populations. The walk will introduce participants to bird identification by both sight and sound and will go beyond identification into ecology, habits and conservation issues. Please bring a pair of binoculars on this tour.
