Join us on-line for a critical real-time discussion on Ottawa: A Capital City of the Future or a Capital Backwater?

Our expert panel will be discussing developing a citizen’s action plan for the city of Ottawa, seriously responding to peak oil and climate change.
The expert panel brings together activists, community planners, and researchers from landscape ecology, public administration and community engagement, a biodiversity
expert, and an economist to examine how to become a capital leader in implementing a long-term integrated sustainability plan for all Canadians.

Moderated by Dr. Ann Dale, Canada Research Chair on Sustainable Community
Development at Royal Roads University.
Panelists include;
James Hamilton, Hamilton, Thomas & Associates;
Rebecca Aird, environmental consultant and auditor and founding chair of Sustainable Living Ottawa East;
Dominica Babicki, Manager, Energy Planning,
North Vancouver;
Dr. Chris Stoney, School of Public Policy and Administration, Carleton
University;
Heather Hamilton, Executive Coordinator, Canadian Biodiversity Institute;
Dr. Chris Ling, Post-Doctoral Scholar, Royal Roads University;
Diane Beckett, Environmental Researcher; and
Chris Wilson, Research Fellow, Centre on Governance, University of Ottawa.

Tune in to www.e-Dialogues.ca and register in the e-audience to ‘listen’ to the expert dialogues and ask questions of the panelists. Participate in the e-audience and make a
difference to shaping the future sustainable development of our capital city.
Following the first hour and a half conversation, the moderator will take questions from the audience to
the panel. The e-Dialogue will be archived for future access.
We would greatly appreciate if you would share this announcement with your own
