The Rideau River Nature Trail is a core project of Sustainable Living Ottawa East. This is a 2.5 km stretch of shoreline in Old Ottawa East which we are working to restore to better ecological health and beauty.
We are looking for volunteers to join us for a morning of "assisted naturalization" work (removing invasives and planting desirable native species) on July 24. Adults and children of all ages are welcome. Refreshments will be served. We will provide equipment and plants, but bring gloves and a spade if you have them.
