Mike Nickerson coming to First Unitarian Congregation July 24

Hello Transition folks,

 

Here's a heads-up on a Sunday July 24 talk being given at First Unitarian as part of our summer service line-up. The Environmental Working Group is sponsoring Mr. Nickerson's talk in place of a sermon on this occasion.

 

Mike Nickerson, sustainability educator, author and story teller, will speak on the theme, "Living on Earth as if we'd like to stay." Mr. Nickerson believes that if we collectively acknowledge our planet has limits and accept responsibility for living within them, we are fully capable of redirecting our efforts and securing well-being for the next seven generations and beyond.
