I don't know if this applies but I developed a small pay it forward program called Greening with Gratitude.  For the past year I have kept track of savings from conservation and efficiency and donated 20% to paying it forward to help someone else save money in a green way.  You can see more at http://greeningwithgratitude.webs.com/.

If you are looking for ~$50 towards a green/energy saving project let me know.

Hi Janet, thanks for the comment and welcome to Transactions.

I'm currently out of town, in part for and as part of my investigation of other suitable places to live for myself and the Transitional/Permacultural/resilient lifestyle.

Whether I return to Ottawa looks about 50-50, but in any case, there's still the net and I'm still "here". :)

Wow, Caelan, I just watched that second video about the Four Corner

Exchange! I was swept away. I'd love to work to get that going in Ottawa!

Group's image is of a "Watercolor by James G. Swan, depicting the Klallam people of chief Chetzemoka at Port Townsend, with one of Chetzemoka's wives distributing potlatch."
