What attracted you to become a member?
Interest in learning more about sustainable methods (especially permaculture) of living and to stay intune with what's going on locally.

Home energy power down, Local food resilience, Alternative vehicles, Solar/wind energy, Community building, Greening Ottawa, Public transport, Reskilling, Joyous simple living, Other
How would you like to see Ottawa look and feel in the future?
No more crack and chemical drugs circulating around Lower Town and Vanier; no more homeless adults nor street youth; The South March Highlands and natural spaces are cared for and protected; No more developers running City Hall; More respect from car-drivers towards cyclists; more people riding bicycles and less people driving cars; more people making use of their gardens, community gardens, and supporting local farmers; no more motor-powered boats on the Ottawa River and surrounding rivers; reduced production of garbage, more composting, more recycling and donating rather than trashing in consequence to upgrading; less dependency on supermarkets; more people seeking counsil of native elders; etc etc etc
What part would you like to contribute to this?
I take whatever opportunities fall into my path.
