I live in Sandy Hill (NE sector near Rideau Street), car-lite, using only Vrtucars. My interests are transportation (especially walkability and utilitarian cycling, and being a member of the Ottawa Seniors Transportation Committee) and main streets (I am working now with the Uptown Rideau Business Association).

Yesterday, I gave a talk to the Can. Assoc. of the Club of Rome on "Sharing: Is Humankind's Oldest Technology ready for a Comeback?" I also campaign for more efficienct forms of transportation: metered access to shared cars and "trans-seat."

Hi Chris,
I'm browsing through the member pages, seeing where folk live with a view to connecting local initiatives. I remember you from the party. Where do you live, and what are your interests? We introduced some fields on the members pages since you signed up. If you have a moment, do fill them in. It sounds like you have a lot of interesting perspectives and areas where you can help lead TransitionOttawa forward.
Cheers,
Kaia
