How would you like to see Ottawa look and feel in the future?

I want an Ottawa that is at least 60% self-sufficient in its food security delivered from its thousand-to-be new CSA eco-farms across Ottawa's in-city rural landscape, in its homestead energy, in its home schooling, in its treenut-based urban agroforestry and more, bypassing present continental agriculture's continuing topsoil depletion, faltering irrigation, environmental damage & excessive off-farm inputs.

What part would you like to contribute to this?

To acquire the closed, rural Torbolton School in order to establish and operate an 'adaptation action centre' for Transition Ottawa folks and others striving to adapt ways-of-life for the challenging changes just ahead.

If you could create your ideal participation with Transition Ottawa, what would it be?

I would like to be able to offer a 'Torbolton Centre' site at the centre of Ottawa's 100-mile circle, to be the adaptation action hub for Transition Ottawa projects, for learning, training, creating and demonstration.
