Would you like to be part of a transition initiative in your neighbourhood?

Yes

Local food resilience, Solar/wind energy, Community building, Greening Ottawa, Other

What are your skills (Professional and amateur)?

-Advanced Networking/Linux server administration,
-Skill documentation writer
-Some project planning
-Over 10 years of hands-on experience with Community Currencies

How would you like to see Ottawa look and feel in the future?

-We need to move towards a greener city
Specifically:
Having most, if not all, food grown with local neighbourhoods
-Creating wildlife corridors and teaching people how to live in harmony with nature
-Creation of local currencies, which in turn would stimulate the local production of goods and services

What part would you like to contribute to this?

I am already an active participant in the Community Forge project (http://communityforge.net/).
I can assist Transition Ottawa in using Cforge tools to help create a local economy.

If you could create your ideal participation with Transition Ottawa, what would it be?

My ideal role would be to work on building/assisting with Community Currency systems on a full time basis.

I would also like to work on making Ottawa more green.
